i never knew they were americans, thought they were brits...
not until i saw a few years ago's VH-1's Bands Reunited... it was only then i found out, silly of me, but true...

Yes, and they were from Orange County California. I saw them quite a bit in their early years. They were great "live" even in the early years

Hi fellow New Wavers! I just stumbled on this MB while checking google for xb102. I am glad people are keeping the flames burning!
You should also check out bands like Wire Train, I also they are English, they also hail from N. America, just like The Translators. I just couldnt remember from which indendent record label they were all commonly stabled at but it has numbers on it.
The genre evolved but somehow it is coming back to its roots in one form or another.
